Tomorrow, my Liverpool FC will once more play against Milan AC in the Champions League final. Two years ago, we won in, arguably, the best ever final.
The Liverpool players have worked hard to get to the final and they are ready.
I know that Liverpool FC will win tomorrow. This is written in the stars.
I am proud to be a Liverpool FC fan. We are not going to war. We will respect Milan AC. Our players have a job to do. They are professionals. And so is our coach and mastermind, Rafael BenÃtez. Every true Liverpool FC fan knows that Rafa has a secret plan against the Milan AC players. With Rafa, we can win over any team. Barcelona and Chelsea can testify.
I predict that Liverpool FC will win by 1-0 tomorrow and the scorer will be… Captain Steven Gerrard!
An update at 02:05 on 24 May:
Liverpool has lost the game 1-2 with, believe it or not, two goals by Inzaghi. I watched it at home with three Liverpool fans and we mostly agreed that Liverpool (and especially Gerrard) did not play a great match. Liverpool was, during long stretches, better than Milan AC and Gerrard and Xabi Alonso should have scored.
Anyway, congratulations to Milan AC ![]()

This will be a great final with the two biggest team in Europe. LIVERPOOL will win by 2-1, scorers Gerrard and Kuyt. By the way I was very surprised to know that we have so many AC Milan fans in Mauritius!!

They are just a bunch of hypocrites!
Or, better, they are really really really jealous

Are they AC Milan fans or anti-Liverpool fans ?
Personally, I am a Liverpool fan, and also a Real Madrid fan, but more on the LFC side
Watching the match all by oneself in Canada is not much fun, especially when one’s wife is a Manchester United fan
Go Liverpool Go

Grazie Pipo
AC Milano Campioni
Liverpool Pisso
Nobody remembers the losers.
My analysis of the match:
Rafa got wrong with his tactics. Why?
According to me, he was trying to counter AC Milan from the start. Thats Why he chose 4-5-1 instead of going for 4-4-2. He did it to nullify the influence of Kaka, and he tried to repel GG from Stevie G. You now wonder why Milan started the match playing 4-4-2 instead of their traditional 4-3-2-1, Ancelotti had to nullify Liverpool’s wingers by putting 2 ‘false’ wingers (Seedorf, and Gattuso).
Like all Italian teams, AC Milan played the waiting game (just like Chelski did at Stamford Bridge). They allowed Liverpool all the possession and the play. It was tight defending at the back, and as real Italians, they were dangerous on counter-attacks, and occasional breakthroughs.
Mascherano was the best Liverpool player yesterday. He did everything perfectly. Alonso played poorly in this match, committed the unnecessary foul which led to the first goal.
Pipo, being a goal poacher, conned Agger to follow him inside when the free kick was taken. It was the display of inexperience at this level by the Liverpool defender.
Gerrard flattered to deceive. He tried to do everything on his own. He wanted to do a one-man comeback, and this had a negative influence on his performance.
Kaka was rather quiet in the match, due to Mascherano’s efforts.
Carragher played well yesterday.
Had Liverpool played with 2 real wingers, 2 strikers, and Gerrard in the middle, maybe the outcome would have been different.
Crouch should have been a starting player. Milan are not renowned for their heading.
Liverpool fans were still dreaming about the comeback, I was hearing the Italian version of You’ll Never Walk Alone at half time!!! I think last time when Liverpool was losing, their fans were singing You’ll never walk Alone at half time. What happened this time?
The magic of Istanbul? Maybe the magician lost his wand!
Lady Luck? She NEVER sleeps on the same bed twice!!!
So, Liverpool fans, you were ready to give up 3 league titles (which you last won 18 years ago) for a Champions League? Prepare for supporting your team for next season’s 3rd place!
Rafa achieved his objective this season.
He wanted to obtain the 4th place, he came 3rd.
Nice!
I don’t understand why some people still live in the past?
Maybe they understand that the success of their team in any competition is rather sporadic, thats why they talk about stuffs which occurred when they were not even born.
Liverpool == Cup Team
Better LUCK next time.
AC Milano vincitore da le coppa del Europa 2007
P.S: Liverpool are not PISSO this season, they won the CHARITY SHIELD. Great Achievement.

Ohhhhhh no……….
What happened??? Liverpool lost!!!
Well that was expected.
With all respects that I owe you Sir, your team was pityfull yesterday.
How can it dream of winning the Champions League and strugling to get next year’s qualification???
Win your domestic league first, the try reaching higher. Chelsea would have won it this year, unfortunately we had too many injuries.
Anyway, José got 2 cups this year (The FA Cup & The League Cup)!!! The FA Cup was missing in José collection as well as the Champions League (with CHELSEA of course).
This year he got his FA Cup, we are not that greedy, so be on your guards and watch out CHELSEA in the Champions League next year.
Euhh, will Liverpool be in next year??? May be, may be not, hehehe first struggle in the preliminaries!!!
Cheers!!!
Dream Like A Man, live Like A God!!!

I thought Liverpool had their ‘Special One’ in Rafael Benitez. I think it hurts him a lot more to lose a CL final in this way.
