with all the links in one place, i guess i have less excuse left to procrastinate…
I’d recommend Why’s (poignant) Guide to Ruby to the Ruby section. It’s not the most educational one but definitely an entertaining one. I skipped most of the actual tutorial because of the sidetext.

Thanks Yaasir for Why’s tutorial. I completely forgot to include it in my list. It’s true it’s a fantastic read. And I suppose you know it has been published as a book!
