We are going on vacation… UoM 2.0?
2007 08 08

We’ve returned from vacation.

We spent five days in Bangkok, Thailand, and another five in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both countries are great even though Christina and I prefer Thailand. Naturally, we did a lot of photos and I’ve just uploaded then on Flickr. Have fun going through them:

I have resumed work at university. To be frank, there are some problems there at this moment (and this is a major understatement). I don’t want to go into more details… Consequently, I didn’t have time to work on my paper on bandwidth.

(In case there are Computer Science students reading my blog, all CSE, IS and Masters-level classes will begin on the 20th of August instead of next Monday)

by starting late… who is going to take the load of being one week late? the students? It means that we will have to more and more stuffs compacted together to have to do it in a very very short time?

Like we have to be doing 2 or 3 assignments in the same week that there is few test and that on top of that there’ll be a few more chapters that will be coverred in that last minute but which will be included in those tests? 1 week is long, perhaps being a lecturer, you guys don’t know how suffocated students may be feeling…atleast if we could get the class notes of what is supposed to be done in that one week we can atleast be prepared.. maybe putting the notes on the cse website might help.

    Hi Selven,

As I mentioned, there are currently some serious issues at the UoM and that’s why lectures are starting late. I don’t want to get into details at this point…
