Jérome Quelin, a good friend of mine from France, is getting married in a few months. We were at INSA Lyon together from 1995 to 1998.
We received an invitation for his wedding yesterday. Surprisingly, if you carefully look at the address:

you’ll realize that it is considered to be “insufficient” by Mauritius Post but we still got it!
Great! We are not complete unknowns after all…

euh..
actually even i got a letter from a friend in india
she didnt have my postal address
she just sent it to

yet i got it..although it was after almost 3 weeks
i think that at the post office they might be knowing us or have a database of ppl and addresses (which i doubt)
or perhaps the postmans know who is on their delivery trip..since they do it everyday
there was indeed the mention of insufficient address on the postcard i received..bt not the undelivered stamp

I am sure you’ll appreciate the professionalism and the dedication of the people at the Port Louis and Quatre Bornes post offices
All is not lost, Mauritius is not doomed yet, we still have nice people
