Robbie Fowler has been offered a new one year deal by Rafa.
I’m happy because Robbie is a fantastic finisher who has a lot to offer to the club. With the new arrivals (and a lot of departures I hope…), Liverpool will be a very competitive team next season.
Watch out Jose!

Totally agree with you
Fowler deserves the contract extension, and gave us some important goals late this season.
I just hope we get to grab that second place in the table tomorrow - we still have a chance for it.

That was for that awful 1998-1999 season when Liverpool ended outside the top 5 (I remember Derby County even pipping them for that 7th spot). That was GH’s first season and eventually the following season, they offered Bradford a chance for survival the next season (allowing Leeds to enter the Champions League).
They Liverpool had to settle for that less coveted UEFA Cup… which they won along with 2 other domestic cups.
I sometimes think… what would have happened if they just beat Bradford on that last day of the 1999/2000 season? Things would have been so different.
Was it the hand of fate?
