  1. Raj says:

Aha, I have been waiting for this :-) . I’ll take 5 days leave from office to attend, I hope I don’t get some “unforeseen” projects at work ..

  2. vicks says:

a scjp prep course would have been interesting..

  3. avinash says:

Thanks Raj for your enthusiasm :-)

As for you Vicks, if you look at the requirements for the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification and you compare with the course content of my Object-Oriented Programming in Java course, you’ll notice one thing: they are similar!

The reason is simply because I’ve not reinvented the wheel when designing this course. Instead I’ve been deeply inspired by Sun’s own courses.

  4. Emmerdeur says:

why don’t you build courses lets say 2hours 3/4 times a week rather than doing it full day for 4/5 days.
It’s psychologically difficult for people working to cope with such mental demands as a lot of us have left the school bench quite a long time ago.

  5. avinash says:

There are all sorts of possibilities as a matter of fact. But, personally, I believe that immersion is required to learn properly. My objective when running the course is to “share my knowledge” (look at the tagline of Knowledge Seven Ltd) and I don’t think I can do that if I only meet the trainee for 2h 3/4 times a week. Maybe 2-3 whole days a week at a stretch but definitely not 2h per day.
