I would like Creole to be formalised so that it becomes easier to write and read. I

as far as i know, there’s already a standard dictionary for creole.. was launched around 3 years ago (or 2 years ago).. correct me if i am wrong.

as far as the ethnic minority thingy… whoever said that… must really be someone with lil or no logical brain.

and for what has been written.. :p political leaders give in some money down in the chain to his agents to market and show a sense of “success for the budget” [its impotant to show the population that “most of them are happy with it” (whether true or not, we don’t care), the agent get the money, the agent will take 80% of that money in his own pockets, that remaining 20% is distributed among area agents, and those area agents will give a few drunkards he knows in the area a bottle of no.1 and some paint, and the latter has to write what was told to be written :p

so the % of the latter not knowing how to write is very high.

but then :p i can’t look down on em, i myself write like am high and talk like i am stoned.

As far as political things whether one did that to tarnish the other… who cares? its not like the political leaders are enemies with each other… kill and die for their sake that’s the role of pawns, i don’t give a damned about whether someone is doing it for or against another party… coz probably if it was done on my wall, the guy would’ve been fed paint till he has to go on detox.

I would like Creole to be formalised so that it becomes easier to write and read. I believe teaching our children in their mother tongue will diminish the struggle that is learning new concepts in a foreign language that they don’t master and improve their education.

Like Avinash, I’m proud of my mother’s tongue. Even though I live in Canada, you can be sure my kids will speak Creole at home. I won’t be very happy if they speak to me in English.

Créol is not a “pourriture de langue”. As far as I know, all Mauritians know Créol. It’s my mother tongue and I’m proud of it. As proud as a Frenchman is of French or a Englishman is of English. Nevertheless, I generally use English on my blog because of its universal reach — I would have used Créol if it was understood by (mostly) everyone on the planet…

As for “effet Obeegadoo”, I have no clue of what this is.
