Sstarted to register it,and now personal gmail is accessible to all @ office without my logon OR password. Help. How to isolate it from office network/Apple server? TIA

No, it's condor1.uom.ac.mu :-)

You can see that if you use nslookup and you type:

server 202.123.2.6
set q=mx
uom.ac.mu

What is the POP server for xxx@uom.ac.mu accounts? Logically, its mx.uom.ac.mu right?

:) I've used desktop mail clients just for testing .. i have always been using web based mail clients.. its much more space saving.. and much more secure than mail clients which i will never have time to keep up to date with recent bugs.
Gmail's been the best till now :p

I transferred all my company mails to google apps one month or so ago. I get the facility of managing my company domain within google apps excellent interface. I can create up to 100 users (the free version) and can delete accounts at will (the only limitation being that it won't let you recreate an account with the same email address within 5 days).

With that I get a customizable signin page for all users in my company ... It serves as an entry point for calendaring, blogs etc ... ! Gmail is a killer app by a fantastic company ... It won't be bettered anywhere ... Will probably be bettered by google as their product is evolving.

I really couldn't live without IMAP. Access emails from any connected devices that I own. All in sync. In a rich client.

dont 4get about the Google Docs & Spreadsheets...
they provide Owner / Collaborators / Viewers options :D
sharing is easier

I started using them since year 2 coz sometimes i seems to forget to bring my assignments :p

I stop using GMail drive feature coz
You are currently using 1754 MB (62%) of your 2829 MB.

GOOGLE is simply the best place to be...
