Logic Audio is a fantastic software, used by countless musicians, bought some years ago by Apple and released as <a href="http://www.apple.com/logicpro/" rel="nofollow">Logic Pro</a>. Now, Logic Pro is a pro software meaning it's tough to use if you are just begining. This is why Apple has done a simplified version of the software which I use now. It is called <a href="http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/" rel="nofollow">Garaband</a> and, as far as I know, as good for me as Logic Audio was. Garageband is free for every new Mac buyer. In case you don't have a Mac and you are looking for free software to do music, I would look at <a href="http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/" rel="nofollow">Rosegarden</a>, <a href="http://ardour.org/" rel="nofollow">Ardour</a> and <a href="http://www.muse-sequencer.org/" rel="nofollow">Muse</a>.
