I was so keen to get a PowerBook G5. But, deep inside, I knew that I would have to wait a lot because a mobile G5 was not on IBM's roadmap (they were too busy with The Cell) So, when I head the rumours about Apple using Intel processors (2-3 days before the official announcement), I immediately said to Christina: "Lo and behold, our next computer will be an Apple Mac laptop featuring an Intel Pentium-M (or a dual-core 64 bits derivative...) and, for once, it seems to me I was right ;-)" If fact, my father (who is in London) asked me if he should buy a laptop for me (as he is coming to Mauritius in 2-3 weeks) and I said no… I was so keen to get a PowerBook G5.
