ACT 2004

The Sixth Annual African Computing & Telecommunications Summit (ACT 2004) organised by AITEC Africa took place in Mauritius at Le Méridien on 7-9 september.

The Linux User Group of Mauritius together with the Mauritians using Linux Group and the Mauritius Java User Group and with the immense help of the Internet Society of Mauritius were able to participate in the official IT exhibition taking place at the same time as the conferences.

Yash Nursinghdass (of LUGM) has a nice report of the event.

MULG, though Aadil Noorkhan, won a refurbished laptop from Computer Aid. Congratulations to them !
